Planting is well underway!

Well, Spring planting is well underway! Last week we installed the trellises for the peas (which were already 6” high!) and planted the first of our tomato starts. These are tricky this time of year as we’ve still experienced some close to freezing temperatures at night since doing so. Fortunately, we have the miracle of “Wall-o-Water” mini greenhouses that sit over and protect each of the plants and gives them a head start on the growing season. We checked earlier this week, and they are doing great! Can’t wait until August.

Next on the list are the remainder of the tomatoes and getting going on the rest of the summer planting: beans, zucchini, peppers, and all the rest in the coming weeks. Watch for updates on our first pop-up of the season.
